The 2019 Nevada Legislative Session resulted in many new obligations for Nevada employers beginning in 2020 — required paid time off for certain employers, a graduated increase to minimum wage, clarification regarding what are qualified health benefits, expansion of remedies for certain state discrimination claims, prohibitions regarding pre-employment drug testing and marijuana, creation of an employee misclassification task force, and more.
