PREPARING FOR NEST: AN OVERVIEW OF THE NEVADA EMPLOYEE SAVINGS TRUST (WEBINAR)

Description

Beginning July 1, 2025, certain Nevada employers that do not currently offer a retirement plan for their employees will be required to enroll employees and make contributions to a state-run plan, the Nevada Employee Savings Trust (NEST). The intent of NEST is to provide a simple and easy way for Nevada workers to save for retirement.

While many of the details are still being worked out, employers need to prepare for the implementation of this new requirement. This training will provide an overview of NEST to help Nevada employers understand their obligations. This will include which employers are subject to this new requirement, what makes an employee eligible for enrollment in the plan, and how the plan is intended to work. This training will also discuss the unknown and what to expect over the next six months.

As we continue to learn more about the specific details of NEST, this training will provide a strong foundation to help you prepare for the future.
