COMPONENT 2 EEO-1 PORTAL SET TO OPEN JULY 15TH

As we have advised previously, employers who are required to submit the EEO-1 Report annually will have to submit Component 2 data (hours worked and pay data by race, ethnicity and sex) for 2017 and 21018 no later than September 30, 2019. The deadline to submit Component 1 data was May 31, 2019.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced that the Component 2 EEO-1 Portal is on schedule to open on July 15th. Login information will be sent to employers via U.S. mail and email on July 15, 2019. Employers can expect to receive reminders to submit Component 2 data as well up to the September 30th deadline.

While the portal is not set to open just yet, a static website with important information for employers is up and running and will provide updates between now and when the portal opens, including Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), and user guides and sample forms to assist employers with filing.
