Training That Supports Your Certification Requirements
HR-certified professionals are required to complete continuing education to maintain their credentials. NAE offers a wide range of training opportunities that qualify for HRCI and SHRM recertification credits.
Most NAE trainings and webinars that are open to the public are eligible, making it easy to:

You do not need to be a member to attend—but membership comes with valuable added benefits.

HRCI and SHRM Recertification FAQs
Yes. Through our partnership with Catapult Employers Association, we offer both live and self-paced prep courses for HRCI and SHRM certifications.
If selected for a recertification audit, you will need to provide documentation showing proof of NAE membership. You can request this through Contact NAE.
Both are widely recognized and respected. Many HR professionals choose to obtain both certifications depending on their career goals. HRCI offers specialized certifications (such as California and global HR), while SHRM focuses on broader HR competencies.
Most NAE trainings open to the public are eligible for HRCI and SHRM recertification credits. Eligible courses will display the appropriate credit designation.
